Hello Everyone!

It’s been six months since I’ve posted anything. I went on vacation and came back to a new reality. Over the past five months my life has changed due to medical reasons. Nothing serious, just one thing after the other. An awful snowball effect. I’ll be fine in the long run, but the mental capacity to read, think, and write was lost for some time. 

I spent most of my time rewatching all the sitcoms that distract and give me joy. During this time I discovered letterbox and got obsessed with film challenges. The month-long ones are fun but intense (probably just stick with Hooptober for Halloween) and I want to dive into a year-long challenge. 

I decided that I’m going to work on the Criterion Challenge over at Letterbox. There’s 52 prompts which I plan on tackling weekly. I just want to start somewhere and I thought talking about these interesting movies would be a good relaunch.

With this ‘relaunch’ I decided to switch the blog name because I wanted to branch out. I will still talk about horror, sci-fi, and fantasy but now I have the freedom to write about any movie or book. Freedom is what I need right now. So I’m going to keep it simple and just go with my own name.

The blog will be movie heavy to start but don’t run away book lovers! I’m not abandoning them, it just might take some time.
